Loma Media is proud to produce the annual tribute video for the Midway American Patriot Award, which honors the accomplishments of individuals who epitomize the true meaning of selfless service that mirrors the USS Midway Museum’s vision as America’s Living Symbol of Freedom.
This year, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the USS Midway chose two distinguished veterans to represent the millions of Americans who served and sacrificed during the conflict, both at home and abroad. From Pearl Harbor to the Elbe River, Stuart Hedley and Lincoln Ward share remarkable stories that resonate personally, and powerfully.
The video premiered at the Museum’s annual fundraiser Gala, with proceeds benefitting the “No Child Left Ashore” Scholarship Fund, an innovative K-8 educational program. Each year, America’s most visited military museum welcomes more than 50,000 kids aboard ship to participate in Midway University’s hands-on science, technology, engineering and math courses (STEM).
