President & Chief Creative Officer
John DeBello has produced, written and directed an impressive variety of strategic communication campaigns, initiatives and projects for major brands, diverse public agencies and leading institutions.
The quality of his work is underscored by the scope of Tier One organizations that have repeatedly called upon him to deliver exceptional results. These include AAA, Callaway Golf, Dell, DirecTV, Discovery Networks, Disney, DXC Technology, EA SPORTS, Mitek Systems, Motorola, the Mountain West Conference, Qualcomm, SAIC and SRI International.
His notable accomplishments include creating the live multimedia event for Motorola that introduced digital HDTV to North America; a customer acquisition campaign for DirecTV that achieved the best results in company history; a direct response broadcast strategy for Dell that tripled anticipated response; and a TV ad for GameStop named “TV Spot of the Week” by AdAge.
DeBello has developed client outreach strategy and produced compelling content for major events and trade show presentations at CES, CTIA, SBCA, the Super Bowl, the Olympic Games, and in international stadiums and arenas. He’s written & directed the video portion of presentations that have resulted in the award of 3 Super Bowls and the US Open.
Utilizing Loma’s VisionCapture™ methodology, John’s produced major communications programs and projects for federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Transportation (DOT), the Defense Advanced Research Products Agency (DARPA), the Intelligence Advanced Research Products Agency (IARPA), SPAWAR, and US Naval Special Warfare.
He’s led community relations and public service initiatives for the City of Austin, the City of Sheffield, England, the City of San Diego and many others. His work for more than 20 major universities has included multiple engagements on behalf of Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, SDSU, UCLA, UCSD and the University of Virginia.
Fresh out of college, John directed, co-produced, and co-wrote the cult-classic comedy Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. He also directed and co-wrote three sequels, served as co-executive producer of the top-rated Fox animated series, and wrote the famous Killer Tomato theme song–an international favorite in its own right, from frat house sing-alongs to a “universal” broadcast from the space shuttle Atlantis.
He has also written and directed numerous award winning documentaries, including The Story Behind the Spectacle, an inside look at the making of the revolutionary Los Angeles Olympics; Beat the Baja, the official story of the world’s most famous off-road race; The College Game, a celebration of American football starring legendary sportscaster Keith Jackson; and X-Carriers, a Discovery special that explores the science of America’s next generation aircraft carrier. He is currently writing and directing “A Soldier’s Journey” for the US World War I Centennial Commission, slated to debut during the nation’s official ceremonies commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice.A graduate of the University of California San Diego with a degree in American History, John’s been inducted into the Silver Circle by the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), Pacific Southwest chapter, in recognition of 25 years of special achievement in television.
Vice President of Client Engagement
With a deep background in marketing strategy and brand management, Erin brings a broad range of skills to every Loma engagement. She plays a lead role in Loma’s global, cross-industry media partnership with DXC Technology, the world’s leading independent IT solutions provider. She has supervised the production of more than 100 DXC video programs, live stream events and social media projects across 4 continents during the past year alone.
Erin also serves as account director for Loma’s ongoing public education engagement on behalf of the DHS Science & Technology Directorate, which includes more than 20 Programs and 30 international government partners supported by many industry leaders and academic institutions.
During a decade at DIRECTV prior to joining Loma, she managed the strategy, execution and media planning of national cross-platform advertiser/consumer programs and promotions, serving as primary liaison between Nielsen Media Research, Program partners and all DIRECTV departments.
Over the course of her career, she’s developed and managed high profile partnerships and directed marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients including Burger King, Disney, and Sony; implemented sales training and incentive programs; and produced media content to support sponsorship, CRM, and direct response initiatives.
Vice President of Creative Services
Kanani oversees the integration of strategic direction and creative services for Loma projects from initial concept through execution. A key member of the Loma team for over a decade, she’s played a key role in designing work we’ve created for leading organizations including Google, DXC Technology, the National Science Foundation, Costco, DHS, Microsoft, Veritas, Mitek Systems, Ellucian and the Mountain West Conference.
An expert in leveraging digital platforms to support diverse communication needs, she recently produced Loma’s groundbreaking “virtual campus” event for NSF that drew attendees from 25 countries.
Kanani was an integral creative component in the global launch of DXC’s Agile Process Automation (APA) business unit, seamlessly conforming the client’s exacting brand standards to the unique demands of positioning a visionary enterprise focused on the workplace promise of AI and robotics.
Other notable Loma engagements include a global product launch campaign for EA SPORTS with Kobe Bryant and Russell Westbrook, a multi-city live web stream event starring Oprah Winfrey and a global product launch campaign for Google’s Toontastic 3D app.
A native of Hawaii, Kanani has also produced and directed many live performance events throughout southern California featuring Polynesian culture.
General Counsel
An experienced producer and general counsel, Mike brings a broad range of entertainment industry expertise and relationships to enhance client opportunities across all platforms. He has collaborated with John DeBello on many projects including independent feature films, television programs, major merchandising deals and national campaigns.
Mike most recently served as General Counsel & EVP of Business and Legal Affairs at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, where he oversaw all corporate matters and worked on artist deals with Billie Eilish, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Brad Paisley, Eric Clapton and the estates of Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison and Kurt Cobain.
Prior to Fender, he was General Counsel & EVP of Business and Legal Affairs at Miramax, where he oversaw all business and legal aspects of film and television acquisitions, distribution, development, production, rights management, merchandising, licensing, music, delivery and marketing. His work included new productions as well as managing the deep library (Pulp Fiction, The English Patient, Chicago, Kill Bill).
His impressive experience includes similar roles at Saban Brands and Image/RLJ Entertainment following a stint at Paramount Home Entertainment.
Mike is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina School of Law. An avid mountaineer, he’s an active member of The Highpointers Association, having climbed the highest peak in 49 of the 50 states. (He has one to go and is saving the best for last.)

With deep experience across both the private and public sector, Rachelle oversees Loma client relationships while cultivating value-added opportunities across the media landscape.
Her background includes optimizing partner engagement with leading brands on behalf of world class organizations including San Diego Zoo Global, where she grew legacy partnerships by 75%.
She began her career with the NFL Chargers, where she ultimately managed and serviced more than 80 corporate and sponsor accounts. Her stewardship included media, signage, hospitality, in-market promotions and additional benefits.
Rachelle’s broad integrated marketing background also features high-profile event sponsorship, cause marketing campaigns, brand awareness and alignment, corporate relations, digital and traditional media production, licensing and merchandising, and comprehensive cross-platform media strategy. She has worked closely with Tier One brands including Anheuser-Busch, Alaska Airlines, Nintendo, and Toyota.
Well versed in the art of storytelling through brand communications, Rachelle is driven to help build a better future through creativity, sustainability, innovation, collaboration, diversity and inclusion.
A graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. in Media/Communications, Rachelle played a key role in campus activities as a member of the Associated Students Cultural Arts and Special Events board of directors.
Marketing Strategist
Penny Finders brings 20 years of international marketing experience to Loma clients, including consulting and production support for Google education initiatives and UC San Diego athletics.
Her broad background includes recent engagements assisting the pre-launch of Sony’s PlayStation Vue and consulting for SiriusXM consumer outreach. During a 13-year run at DIRECTV she played a key role in sports marketing, helped create and run the Relationship Marketing department and ultimately earned a lead product management position within Sales & Marketing/Retention Marketing.
Prior to DIRECTV, she managed the world’s largest interactive Sports Science Exhibition at the National Museum of Science and Industry (aka The Science Museum) in London.
Penny was a nationally ranked junior tennis player and collegian in her native Great Britain, and still manages “to hang with the kids” as a 5.0 USTA player today.
Director of Design and Innovation
Dan’s creative and technical leadership works to continually position Loma at the forefront of digital innovation, enabling us to reach client goals with optimum impact.
An expert in multimedia publishing, creative and distribution platforms, he’s also an accomplished multi-discipline team leader and fine arts talent. This range of skills is notably displayed in his work as co-producer of Loma’s engagement in support of US Naval Special Warfare. As co-host of the Official Podcast of the Navy SEALs, he engages regularly with a wide range of experts to convey the SEALs mission, values and required skills to the American public and potential recruits.
His other notable work at Loma includes creative direction of DCX’s Global Industry Positioning initiative, technical direction of Start up Grind’s World Conference live web stream and editorial support for many Loma clients including a national scope for the US World War I Centennial Commission.
Prior to joining Loma, Daniel led sales training and regional network, desktop and mobile support for Verizon’s executive partners and sales teams. His broad and inclusive technical experience and expertise is a significant value-add to Loma clients desiring to exploit the power and reach of mobile marketing communication channels.
Vice President of Finance & Operations
Extensive international experience managing organizations and major events provide a solid background for Carmen’s operational leadership.
At Loma, her role in producing high profile arts & entertainment events includes one of the first concerts held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the inaugural concert at the acclaimed Tippet Rise Arts Center. A published journalist and translation specialist fluent in four languages, she also supports our multi-lingual services across all platforms.
Her rich communications background includes a management stint at the worldwide trade group of large-format screen theaters (GSTA), where she produced global conferences from Australia to Spain. She’s also served as a producer/talent for Austria’s national television and radio network (ORF) and as President of San Diego’s Performing Arts League.
Carmen continues to embrace her native Austrian passion for large mountains and fast skiing. She recently took two firsts in her age group (Giant Slalom) at an international Masters Event in Jackson, Wyoming.
Media Strategist
With more than a decade of senior marketing and communications experience serving a wide variety of industry leading organizations, Amy supervises Loma’s production and creative services engagements for global clients across Asia and the Middle East.
Notable recent projects include a video overview of DXC Technology’s Global Delivery Centers from Bangalore, India and a profile of an innovative “smart crowd” solution for Saudi Arabia’s Makkah Region Development Authority. Amy also plays a key role as account lead for Loma’s ongoing work on behalf of the 4-star Semper Fi Fund, one of America’s highest-rated veteran charities.
Beginning her career as an agency media buyer and strategist for both consumer and B2B accounts, she has created and produced direct response media campaigns, public relations initiatives, integrated social media outreach, broadcast and video productions, and call center management.
She has held primary responsibility for major accounts in sports & entertainment, tourism, healthcare, manufacturing and consumer brands for an elite clientele ranging from BlueCross BlueShield to Major League Baseball.
Committed to community service, she’s led efforts that have raised millions of dollars for digestive disease research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Editor/Motion Designer
An outstanding editor and multimedia designer, Philip has played a lead role in the “concept to completion” creation of a wide range of Loma projects including a service video for the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a video series for the US World War I Centennial Commission, training videos for the San Diego County Fair and motion design for the San Diego Police Department and the Rincon Tribal government.
Accomplished in all aspects of the production process, he has produced, coordinated, directed, shot, and edited commercials, PSAs, and short-form documentaries using state-of-the art camera and editorial systems.
As a designer, he has developed concepts, executed storyboards and animated videos that combine live action footage with moving vectors and type. He is currently working on a series of 180VR videos featuring some of the world’s leading technology providers.
Production Coordinator
Alex coordinates Loma’s production process for all media from initial engagement through final delivery across comprehensive distribution and streaming platforms.
Her broad experience in broadcast programming, cross-platform digital marketing and news gathering elevates the critical efficiencies she brings to each project. She interacts closely with our account and post-production teams to optimize speed, efficiency and ultimate results.
Prior to joining Loma, she was responsible for organization and media management for Fremantle Media’s Alternative Programming Department, implementing new practices and workflows to ensure team efficiency. At Panavision, Alex was a video segment producer specializing in new product launches for the industry’s iconic camera equipment manufacturer.
With an M.A. in Television, Film and New Media from San Diego State University, Alex helps guide and manage a proven production process that has generated more than 200 unique video and digital projects delivered to Loma clients across four continents over the past year alone.
Sr. Manager, Client Services
From strategic planning through targeted content dissemination across all media channels, Tatianna has proven experience supporting every aspect of marketing communications.
She plays a key role in our long-term global engagement supporting DXC Technology, working across every major vertical industry in tandem with a Tier One partner network that includes Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow and many other world-class organizations. She also supports our work on behalf of the National Science Foundation’s innovative Convergence Accelerator.
Her background includes oversight of content strategy and workflow optimization for a financial services firm, account management and creative services for a digital media company and brand identity design/development in support of a diverse clientele.
An effective copywriter, social media strategist and UX designer, Tatianna’s comprehensive skillset allows her to engage effectively with every Loma client across the entire spectrum of media services.
A graduate of California State University San Marcos with a B.A. in Visual and Performing Arts, and an emphasis in Art and Tech, Tatianna’s passion for travel has taken her to more than 20 countries.
Editor and Media Manager
Experienced in all major post-production platforms, John brings both a creative eye and deep operational experience to every Loma project.
He serves as lead editor on a wide variety of video engagements targeted to diverse, targeted audiences. His award-winning work includes a “Creativity” video series for Google in partnership with Pixar and award-winning Loma documentaries produced for the US World War I Centennial Commission and USS Midway Museum.
Other recent projects include a public awareness video on mobile security for the Department of Homeland Security, an overview of blockchain technology for fintech innovator Reality Shares and multiple videos for the San Diego Sports Association.
A Cinematic Arts and Technology graduate from California State University Monterey Bay, his strong background in documentary filmmaking and sports production is a core component of his narrative style.
When not in the edit bay, John can be found at the nearest ballpark. A passionate baseball fan, he’s visited 32 major league baseball stadiums.
Operations Coordinator
Meghan supports Loma customer engagement from initial interface through ultimate project activation. Proficient in communication planning, she brings a wide range of skills that include both interpersonal interaction and content management across all traditional and digital platforms.
She is currently supporting multiple Loma projects, including the official broadcast documentary on the making of the new National World War I Memorial and public outreach scopes for the City of National City, UC San Diego and the National Science Foundation. Prior to joining Loma, Meghan led Communications for the Michigan Fitness Foundation where she managed many multi-faceted community outreach initiatives. This included coordinating activities and sponsorships with more than 1000 schools across Michigan, managing their social media platforms to maximize engagement through analytics and research while overseeing all communications content. She also served as a strategic coordinator on the state’s ‘Pure Michigan’ tourism campaign, where her responsibilities included research and in-field surveys.
Graduating with honors from Michigan State University, Meghan also coordinated digital media for programs for the MSU College of Engineering Outreach Office.

Carmen continues to embrace her native Austrian passion for large mountains and fast skiing. She recently took two firsts in her age group (Giant Slalom) at an international Masters Event in Jackson, Wyoming.
Media Strategist
With more than a decade of senior marketing and communications experience serving a wide variety of industry leading organizations, Amy supervises Loma’s production and creative services engagements for global clients across Asia and the Middle East.
Notable recent projects include a video overview of DXC Technology’s Global Delivery Centers from Bangalore, India and a profile of an innovative “smart crowd” solution for Saudi Arabia’s Makkah Region Development Authority. Amy also plays a key role as account lead for Loma’s ongoing work on behalf of the 4-star Semper Fi Fund, one of America’s highest-rated veteran charities.
Beginning her career as an agency media buyer and strategist for both consumer and B2B accounts, she has created and produced direct response media campaigns, public relations initiatives, integrated social media outreach, broadcast and video productions, and call center management.
She has held primary responsibility for major accounts in sports & entertainment, tourism, healthcare, manufacturing and consumer brands for an elite clientele ranging from BlueCross BlueShield to Major League Baseball.
Committed to community service, she’s led efforts that have raised millions of dollars for digestive disease research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Editor/Motion Designer
An outstanding editor and multimedia designer, Philip has played a lead role in the “concept to completion” creation of a wide range of Loma projects including a service video for the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a video series for the US World War I Centennial Commission, training videos for the San Diego County Fair and motion design for the San Diego Police Department and the Rincon Tribal government.
Accomplished in all aspects of the production process, he has produced, coordinated, directed, shot, and edited commercials, PSAs, and short-form documentaries using state-of-the art camera and editorial systems.
As a designer, he has developed concepts, executed storyboards and animated videos that combine live action footage with moving vectors and type. He is currently working on a series of 180VR videos featuring some of the world’s leading technology providers.
Production Coordinator
Alex coordinates Loma’s production process for all media from initial engagement through final delivery across comprehensive distribution and streaming platforms.
Her broad experience in broadcast programming, cross-platform digital marketing and news gathering elevates the critical efficiencies she brings to each project. She interacts closely with our account and post-production teams to optimize speed, efficiency and ultimate results.
Prior to joining Loma, she was responsible for organization and media management for Fremantle Media’s Alternative Programming Department, implementing new practices and workflows to ensure team efficiency. At Panavision, Alex was a video segment producer specializing in new product launches for the industry’s iconic camera equipment manufacturer.
With an M.A. in Television, Film and New Media from San Diego State University, Alex helps guide and manage a proven production process that has generated more than 200 unique video and digital projects delivered to Loma clients across four continents over the past year alone.
Sr. Manager, Client Services
From strategic planning through targeted content dissemination across all media channels, Tatianna has proven experience supporting every aspect of marketing communications.
She plays a key role in our long-term global engagement supporting DXC Technology, working across every major vertical industry in tandem with a Tier One partner network that includes Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow and many other world-class organizations. She also supports our work on behalf of the National Science Foundation’s innovative Convergence Accelerator.
Her background includes oversight of content strategy and workflow optimization for a financial services firm, account management and creative services for a digital media company and brand identity design/development in support of a diverse clientele.
An effective copywriter, social media strategist and UX designer, Tatianna’s comprehensive skillset allows her to engage effectively with every Loma client across the entire spectrum of media services.
A graduate of California State University San Marcos with a B.A. in Visual and Performing Arts, and an emphasis in Art and Tech, Tatianna’s passion for travel has taken her to more than 20 countries.
Editor and Media Manager
Experienced in all major post-production platforms, John brings both a creative eye and deep operational experience to every Loma project.
He serves as lead editor on a wide variety of video engagements targeted to diverse, targeted audiences. His award-winning work includes a “Creativity” video series for Google in partnership with Pixar and award-winning Loma documentaries produced for the US World War I Centennial Commission and USS Midway Museum.
Other recent projects include a public awareness video on mobile security for the Department of Homeland Security, an overview of blockchain technology for fintech innovator Reality Shares and multiple videos for the San Diego Sports Association.
A Cinematic Arts and Technology graduate from California State University Monterey Bay, his strong background in documentary filmmaking and sports production is a core component of his narrative style.
When not in the edit bay, John can be found at the nearest ballpark. A passionate baseball fan, he’s visited 32 major league baseball stadiums.
Operations Coordinator
Meghan supports Loma customer engagement from initial interface through ultimate project activation. Proficient in communication planning, she brings a wide range of skills that include both interpersonal interaction and content management across all traditional and digital platforms.
She is currently supporting multiple Loma projects, including the official broadcast documentary on the making of the new National World War I Memorial and public outreach scopes for the City of National City, UC San Diego and the National Science Foundation. Prior to joining Loma, Meghan led Communications for the Michigan Fitness Foundation where she managed many multi-faceted community outreach initiatives. This included coordinating activities and sponsorships with more than 1000 schools across Michigan, managing their social media platforms to maximize engagement through analytics and research while overseeing all communications content. She also served as a strategic coordinator on the state’s ‘Pure Michigan’ tourism campaign, where her responsibilities included research and in-field surveys.
Graduating with honors from Michigan State University, Meghan also coordinated digital media for programs for the MSU College of Engineering Outreach Office.
We’ve produced work featuring alligators, dogs, cats, chimps, goats, gila monsters, sheep, sea horses and Shamu. Not to mention Tiger Woods, Navy Seals and a few (Chicago) Bears.
Following the cult success of John DeBello’s wacky Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, one befuddled studio exec said: “Whey didn’t you just take the budget to Vegas and put it on red?”
Neil Kronimus, a technologist for client DXC, built a TV when he was 8-years-old. In an amazing coincidence, every member of the Loma staff watched TV at the age of 8.
Our Erin Satterburg is a quadruplet. For some reason, she is also an outstanding team player.
Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes sponsored multiple segments of the Loma-produced TV series EA SPORTS GameTime. But they have yet to offer any of us a free lifetime supply.
