A Magical Night Honors Special Achievement

Loma’s Virtual Gala generates real results for a national youth opportunity leader.

‘Bridges from School to Work’ has transformed more than 20,000 lives through the power of a job, connecting young adults with disabilities to 5,200 employers in 12 cities. With the pandemic limiting personal interaction, the organization’s annual fundraising, promotional and partner engagement opportunity would have to go virtual.

Enter Loma. Working in partnership with The Orr Group, a non-profit fundraising and strategy consultant, we produced an ambitious, acclaimed ‘hybrid’ event that incorporated a dynamic combination of live and pre-recorded content.

Our video production featured ‘in-person’ appearances on two continents, headlined by amazing magician Michael Carbonaro (star of the hit series The Carbonaro Effect).  Bridges Chairman Dick Marriott was joined by key supporters including Publicis Groupe COO Steve King and Marriott International CEO Tony Capuano.

‘The Magic of Bridges’ was an immersive experience that began well before showtime. After registering online, attendees would learn more about Bridges' mission and many successes, meet sponsor/partners, interact/chat, enjoy the show, and most importantly--donate.

‘Day of’ pre-event meet-ups (known as Bridges VIP socials) proved an important part of attendee engagement.  By creating a unique in-platform solution, we enabled a single environment to facilitate every aspect of the program.

From initial platform buildout through a seamlessly integrated livestreamed program, ‘The Magic of Bridges’ celebrated success and helped galvanize enthusiasm for a trusted partner, champion and advocate of ‘ability first’ youth opportunity.
