The Santa Clara Valley Water District is the largest multi-purpose water supply, watershed stewardship and flood management special district in California. As the climate becomes more volatile, water resources are seriously impacted. It’s essential that the public, local businesses and government partners work together to ensure a reliable, safe supply of clean water and coordinate for flood protection.
A strong, memorable brand is important to gain public trust and increase responsiveness. We’ve employed a wide variety of cross-platform content that leverages partnerships with San Jose’s NHL Sharks and MLS Earthquakes plus local universities and community organizations.
More than 30 local social media influencers also lend their voices to reach diverse communities of interest throughout the heart of Silicon Valley.
Every California county has experienced at least 1 significant flood event in the past 25 years. A recent Loma campaign focused county residents and businesses on the need to be “Be Flood Safe” as the rainy season arrived. Coordination with local weather experts insured that campaign imagery would resonate authentically with Valley Water customers.
In print, online, via video, through direct mail, on social media and across the county’s 15 cities, the word is out: Any time it rains, it can flood. Be prepared!
