Video Editor
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Video Editor to join our team under a 2 month contract beginning September 12th (with a day of Training the week before). This position will report to the Post-Production Supervisor and work alongside talented video producers and designers. This individual will support the team on editing, motion graphics and brainstorming breakthrough creative. This position is a great opportunity for someone to join a fast-paced, innovative environment in Video Production.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years professional experience is required.
Requirements:
You have a strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling and pacing.
You demonstrate an ability to produce different moods and feelings depending on project requirements.
You are creative and have an ability to find and develop powerful stories.
You can assemble paper edits of interview content that are in line with goals of the Creative Brief.
You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
You have experience in color-correction, grading and keying *A PLUS
You have basic audio mixing capabilities.
You can design basic graphic art cards, titles, and lower thirds, and/or manipulate AE templates with text edits
Familiarity with Post-Production terminology, editorial platforms and tech specs to include: modern codecs, bit rates, compression programs, aspect ratios, and delivery standards for broadcast, internet, and specialized use.
You are able to collaborate with other post team members.
You can diagnose and rectify basic technical issues with computers, hard drives, software and plugins related to post production.
