Pioneering for the Public Good
We communicate the mission and achievements of one of America’s most innovative government programs.
The goal of the National Science Foundation’s Convergence Accelerator is to have a powerful, “societal scale” impact on the American people. Use-inspired, team-based efforts are addressing challenges of national importance—merging ideas, approaches, and technologies from a wide range of diverse sectors, disciplines, and experts to speed solutions through transformative partnerships.
This month, Loma debuts an overview video that explains the Convergence Accelerator’s approach to prospective partners and participants. In addition to internal and external video outreach, our work on behalf of the program includes curriculum and design support, marketing communications and livestreamed audience engagement to more than 25 countries.
“It requires us to think two steps ahead of where we would normally think in a typical research project.”
–Edo Waks, Principal Investigator
NSF Convergence Accelerator Track C: Interconnecting Quantum Computers for the Next-Generation Internet
Launched in 2019, the Convergence Accelerator has already tripled in size from 2 tracks to 6, with more than 60 teams being selected to engage in one of the world’s most unique R&D programs.
We’re proud to play a role in “transformation, at scale.”
